Shipping Policy
Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your order has been received and is being processed. United States Postal Services is our main mail carrier.

All orders are shipped within 72 hours of payment clearing. (see "Order Process" below); excluding weekends.

Priority Mail

Priority Mail is our standard shipping method and shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout. All US shipments are sent with delivery confirmation. USPS does not provide real-time tracking information for Priority Mail. According to USPS estimates, Priority Mail is normally delivered in 2-3 business days within the United States.

Express Mail

Express Mail is available for US customers only. According to USPS estimates, Express Mail Items shipped using this service can be delivered within the 48 contiguous United States and the Washington, D.C. within 1-2 business days. (The "guaranteed" delivery time for Express mail is dependent on both the package drop off time, and the delivery destination.)

Express Mail shipping labels are printed electronically online and require a valid e-mail address as you will receive notification of your shipment via e-mail. (Please ensure that your spam blockers are not blocking e-mails from Lanik's Hair Boutique) You can track Express Mail shipments real-time via the USPS website. You may also use our Contact Us form if you have any additional questions regarding your order.

Additional Information About Express Mail

From the USPS website:
"Express Mail® items need to be mailed by a certain time for us to meet our delivery commitment. This is called the “drop-off” or “cut-off” time. You can still send the mailing after the drop-off time; however, the same service guarantee will not be available. For packages that must ship with next-day service, please contact your shipping facility to verify the cut-off time.'"

"We'll let you know where and when to ship your package and how soon it will be delivered (Next Day, Second Day, or Second Delivery Day, depending on the service commitment that was given at the time of acceptance)."

International Orders

All international packages are shipped by USPS Global Priority Mail or USPS International First-Class Mail. All international shipping labels are printed electronically online and require a telephone number to be supplied on the shipping form.

We cannot be held responsible for any customs fees that may be assessed to your order.

Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Orders

We are not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in transit to you. Therefore we strongly suggest you consider adding insurance coverage to your order. Insurance is available for $2.50 per $100 dollars in package value.

Any order which has not been received 30 days after the shipping date is considered a lost order. Lost, stolen, or damaged orders will be replaced ONLY if the customer purchased insurance at the time the order was placed. We consider any order to have been received when the delivery status for the package is "Delivered".

If merchandise is lost in transit, it will be replaced only after the shipment has been traced (provided that the order was insured at the time of shipment) Upon confirmation of non-delivery, a claim will be filed and the merchandise will be replaced or the you will be issued a credit (minus the shipping costs). We are not responsible for uninsured shipments which are lost or damaged in transit.

We accept no responsibility or liability for shipping delays which are as a result of errors on the part of the shipping carrier.

Signature Confirmation

You will be responsible for your order if you decline signature confirmation.
Returns Policy
Health & sanitation concerns limit the return of human hair products that have been used and that includes "trying them on". We will not accept any merchandise used or altered (including, but not limited to brushed, combed, colored, permed, cut, or relaxed) in any way.

We adhere to these strict policies with respect to hair returns. As a necessary health precaution, the items must be returned in the original condition. We will not accept any merchandise that is not in its original condition. The returned item must be unopened, unaltered, unworn, undamaged and in the original shipped condition. All tags and packaging must be included.

When it is necessary to return an item, use our Return Authorization Form. If a return is approved you will be e-mailed a return authorization number and shipping instructions.

Items meeting the above conditions may be returned within 7 days of the shipping date, for a refund, less a 20% restocking fee and shipping fees. Items returned after the 7 day grace period will only be eligible for store credit, less a 20% restocking fee and shipping fees. Please plan your purchase carefully.

No Unsuitable Returns Accepted
If merchandise unsuitable for restocking is returned, it will be held for 5 days pending the customers payment of shipping charges to have it returned to them. If the customer does not pay to reship the item(s) they will be discarded. No credit will be issued for any merchandise that cannot be restocked.

Please be advised, these restrictions do not apply if any item is returned due to a mistake made by Lanik's Hair Boutique. Within 7 days of receiving your order if any item proves to be defective; please contact us immediately.

After we receive the defective item, we will test it if need be, and we will ship back to you at our expense a non-defective replacement item and compensate you for shipping the defective item back to us. If Lanik's Hair Boutique determines an item is defective due to improper handling by the Customer (i.e. over processing) the item will be returned to the customer COD.

*Custom and/or In Stock orders with fancy and/or un-natural colors will not be accepted for exchange.

*Discount, sales or promotional items will not be accepted for exchange.

Order Process Policy
  • All orders are process within 72 hours of payment clearing.
  • We do not offer overnight shipping. Express Mail is offered as an EXPEDITED delivery method, not as an overnight shipping option. Therefore, please keep in mind that if you choose Express Mail, your package may not arrive the day after your order is placed.
  • Before making payment, be sure that your Paypal/Google Checkout account has your current address – your purchase will be mail to the address on your Paypal/Google Checkout account, unless it’s a gift and you specifically state on the Paypal/Google Checkout account which address the order should be shipped.
  • Please check your invoice/order confirmation to make sure that the details are correct before paying
  • Check your shipping notification to make sure your purchase is being shipped to the correct address
  • Once you received your tracking number; track your order.
